I'm getting convinced that a lot of videogame designers have to be into NBM and related stuff. Beside The Wolf Among Us and SOMA which are already kinda in your face with this subject matter, there are at least 2 which could be considered official games for the NBM/Headswap community.
One is Headlander [GOG link]. Your player character is the last human alive - or rather, last human head alive. You can place your head on various robots and machinery and control them that way. I've not played this so that's all I know except that it's by Double Fine (of the Grim Fandango or Psychonauts fame).
The other one:
The premise: an American cheerleader from a family of zombie hunters um, fights zombies using her pink chainsaw.
With a setup like this, you really don't need to worry about having the story spoiled.
Okay but this is the important part: Juliet's (that's the main character) boyfriend gets bitten by a zombie and to save him, she kinda sorta cuts of his head and keeps it alive using magic. He's a bit miffled about it...
Either way, she just hangs him on her belt so he gets his face in her butt as he bounes around and they go zombie hunting.
You can encounter a headless zombie and use it as a temporary vessel:
And yes, there is a girl version as well.
Juliet seems to be REALLY into the whole headless boyfriend thing:
And so are her sisters. Watch this exchange with Cordelia: whoever wrote this had obviously a lor of fun with it.
The other sister is even more excited about this:
Back to Juliet:
Hey did I mention she's a cheerleader and it's a zombie game? What do you do with zombies?
Anyway the game is just as dumb as it seems, about 1/10 as funny as it seems and despite being like 8 hours long, still drags on with its repetitiveness. The soundtrack is cool and there are some good bits but overall, don't bother. SUDA51 hit me up if you need better weird ideas for your games. But we still appreciate the official NBM game

¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Not just fun and games
I generally use dA just to chill and make fun of things. There is barely a topic I don't see potential humor in, but, let's do something completely different for a change.
So, to be clear, this is nothing deviant-related. Nothing kinky or fun. I'm posting it here because I want everyone need to know about it. (I suppose a lot of you probably already do. I'm actually quite late to this.)
Want to spend half a day meaningfully? Go watch this new Netflix series.
If you don't know about it, don't look what it is, don't look for spoilers, just go watch it.
And hey, I know people do this all the time, where they tell you to do/watch/buy somethin
Well! It seems I found my theme song
I've been exploring some pop-ish music in the last few days and just made this lucky find.
Cute, isn't it?
Dead Island Deviant Edition
I'm quite a sucker for steelbooks, soundtracks, artbooks and other extra goodies that come with some special editions of games and movies (discs forever; digital can't match that). But I've never cared much for figurines and other stuff that come with various collector's editions.
Have to say though, The Dead Island Riptide Zombie Bait Edition gave me some pause and I kinda want it, even though I'm ired of everything that contains zombies, so I don't care for the game itself. It's just a nicely sick piece of deviant scultpure even though it was probably created only to get into the headlines.
Needless to say, the edition caused quite a bit
Sit down, and listen (i.e tutorial time)
It's funny, but quite a lot of people want to know how to take off heads of other people. Virtually that is, of course. So here goes, a small tutorial which covers how I (used to) do this stuff. The described procedure is most likely not the best way to do things, but it works for my level and doesn't take too much time. If you're a graphics professional or at least an enthusiast, this isn't going to be anything new. If you're just starting, some of these tips might be useful. Maybe.
Apologies in advance for the creepy language, but it's hard to avoid when covering a topic like this in a tutorial.
You won't be surprised the most used tool i
